Registration for the ECN Digital Markets Act Conference 2024 is now open

On Monday 24 June, the European Competition Network (ECN) will organize a conference on the DMA at the Sheraton Hotel, Amsterdam (Schiphol). The ECN-DMA conference 2024 is organized by the following ECN competition authorities, including ACM.

The aim of the conference is to highlight the positive effects that the DMA can have for businesses and the European economy, and to empower businesses to use these opportunities. By sharing, explaining and discussing the possibilities that the DMA presents, the conference should place businesses in a better position to use the DMA to their advantage. The primary target audience for the conference is businesses that are existing or potential competitors, access seekers, and business users of the Big Tech companies that have been designated as gatekeepers.

Speakers include Mozilla, Bol.com, Ian Brown, Spotify, Cristina Caffarra, DuckDuckGo, GetYourGuide, Allegro, Fiona Scott Morton and others. Commissioner for Competition Margrethe Vestager opens the conference in Amsterdam.

Breakout sessions will be on: Operating systems, Search engines, Appstores, NIICs, Browsers, E-Commerce & online booking platforms, Generative AI and Advertising Services.

The ECN-DMA conference 2024 is organised by the following ECN competition authorities: Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, and the EU Commission.
